Hi, I'm Friederike! After finishing my training as a vintner and spending several years working in Switzerland, the time finally came to start my own winery. And here we are, in one of the most beautiful corners of Piedmont.
Life as a winemaker isn’t always as romantic as people imagine. But I love it: pruning the vines in the biting cold, green shoot thinning in the rain, thinning leaves in the summer heat, spending days on the tractor, and feeling every muscle in my body at night because it was time to replace those heavy end-posts again. I gave the office life a try as a construction economist, but let’s be honest—Excel spreadsheets just don’t smell as good as ripening wine.
My Philosophy: In the world of wine, people talk a lot about terroir, tannin structures, and the moon’s alignment during harvest. But in the end, only one thing truly matters to me: Does the wine taste good?
My Goal: I pour the sun, the rain, the soil, and the very best grapes into every bottle, so that when you pour yourself a glass on a Friday night, you can take a sip and think: "Damn, life is good."

Hi, I'm Christine! I used to lead IT projects. These days, I’m the "Operating System" of our winery. While the winemaker creates the wine and the bulldog mostly just lies in the way, I make sure this stays a functioning business and doesn’t just turn into a hobby with a massive wine cellar.
My Roles:
For our Guests – User Experience: Forget the manual. I rely on creative chaos and gut feeling—that was my secret IT success formula all along. Now, I use that same instinct for what matters most: your experience and your enjoyment!
For the Team – Resource Management: It’s all about balance. I have to remind the winemaker that grapes and wine don’t count as a full meal. And I have to stop the bulldog from reverting to the "historic spherical shape" of her ancestors.
My Philosophy: Piedmont is teaching me how to relax and throw plans overboard. The best fix for almost any "system error" is a long table with great food and a glass of our wine that never stays empty.
So, I’ll take care of the food and the wine—you take care of the ‘Dolce Vita’—deal?

On our labels and in our logo, you’ll see a very distinctive face. That’s me - Gerda. Bulldog, head of security, and the official CHO.
My humans thought it was a great idea to make me the face of the brand. Their reasoning? I perfectly embody the philosophy of our wines:
Strong Character: I do what I want. In winemaking, they call that a "clear vision."
Full-Bodied: I’m compact, down-to-earth, and I have a certain... presence.
Unfiltered: What you see is what you get. Pure nature.
My Responsibilities:
Soil Quality Control: I spend a lot of time on the ground. Through intensive snoring, I monitor whether the vibrations are correct for aging the wine. If you hear a satisfied grumbling (ital. brontolare → La Brontina), that’s me.
Guest Reception: A critical inspection for potential treats.
Harvesting: My job is to stand in the way of the tractors to ensure the necessary "slowdown" during the hectic autumn. Stress ruins the wine. You’re welcome.
Don’t let my grumpy expression fool you. Bulldogs are connoisseurs. We know that the best things in life take time.

Small became grown
Flats turned into peaks
One became two
Inside became out
The mind gave way to the hand
Grey turned to color
Numbers turned to machines
Two became three
From a dream grew grapes
Grew wine
